Listen to an Episode
To see a list of all of the episodes go to the Episodes section of this web site and click the link to the episode you want to listen to.
Currently, each episode has two versions:
- The broadcast version: This is the recording of the show as it was broadcast on WHUP FM. The recordings of the broadcast version are only available for two weeks after the broadcast date of the episode, due to licensing restrictions. So you will see the broadcast version only on the two most recent episodes.
- The YouTube playlist version: There is a YouTube playlist for the songs that are included in the episode.
You can listen to the YouTube playlist for the episode five different ways:
- On the Americana Music Show website
- On the YouTube website
- On the YouTube App
- On the YouTube Music website
- On the YouTube Music App
Each episode page has links, buttons, and instructions for all five ways of listening.
A note about advertising:
If you have do not have a Google account or if you have a free Google Account, you will hear ads inserted by Google. The Americana Music Show has no control over when or how many ads are inserted and does not make any money from these ads. If you have a YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium account, you can listen to the episode playlist without ads and you can download the playlist to your device for offline listening. Furthermore, part (a very tiny part) of you monthly membership fees go to pay royalties to the artists you listen to.
